Event Pool VII - UFC on FOX 12: Lawler vs. Brown

The rules and awards are as follows :

Pick the fighters offered in the event that you expect to be the winners, you must pick a winner for each bout in the Event Pool.

You only need to pick the winner in the Event Pools... picking the method of finish or the round the fight will end in is not required.

There are usually 5 to 6 main card bouts above to make your picks in... 2 incorrect picks eliminates you from the Pool.

If all players have 2 or more incorrect picks, the player or players with the most amount of correct picks will win 1st Place in the Event Pool.

If only 1 player is not eliminated he will win all of the prize awards, if more than 1 player or players are tied for 1st Place they will split the award prizes between them.

If 2 players are tied for 1st Place, they will split the 1st & 2nd Place awards, leaving only the 3rd Place award for any other player or players in 3rd Place.

If 3 or more players are tied for 1st Place, they will split the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place awards, and there will be no 2nd or 3rd place winner.

This pool does not continue and a winner(s) is / are determined after the event.

Juliana Lima vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk

Technical difficulties prevented play-by-play for this fight. The opening round was competitive, but Jedrzejczyk landed the better strikes during the exchanges. Jedrzejczyk opened up with her striking in the second round. Lima slowed as the fight wore on. She secured a takedown in the third frame and landed in side control. She lost the position and Jedrzejczyk worked her way back to her feet.

Round 2: Stahl comes out aggressive in the second round. He steps in with a right hand followed by a kick to the body. Stahl pushes forward with punches. Burns counters with a right hand. Stahl continues to pressure Burns. Burns goes to the body with punches and follows up with an outside leg kick. Stahl clinches and presses Burns against the cage.
