Clay Guida vs. Dennis Bermudez

Round 1: Bermudez lands a leg kick. Guida bounces around on the outside. Guida steps in with a right hook that lands flush. Bermudez lands an outside leg kick. Guida works to get the fight to the ground. Bermudez defends the takedown attempt. Guida closes the distance. Bermudez delivers a knee to the body and presses Guida against the cage. He lands a knee on the break. Guida looks for another takedown, but Bermudez has none of it. Bermudez steps in with a hard outside leg kick. Bermudez lands a right hand. He presses forward. Guida tries to take his back, but Bermudez flips him over. They work for position along the cage. Bermudez lands a knee on the break. Guida is cut. Bermudez lands a right hand followed by a knee. He clinches and delivers a series of knees. He tosses Guida to the ground and takes his back. He works for a rear-naked choke. Guida defends the submission attempt. The round ends with Bermudez having Guida’s back and Guida delivering elbows into Bermudez’ leg. MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Bermudez.

Round 2: They meet in the center of the cage. Guida lands a right hand. He works to get the fight to the ground. Bermudez sprawls and circles away. Bermudez moves in with a combination ending in a leg kick. He lands an uppercut. Guida responds with an outside leg kick. Bermudez lands a stiff jab. Bermudez lands a right hand. He inches forward. Guida hits him with a winging right hand. Bermudez responds with a combination. Guida rushes forward with punches and Bermudez takes him down. He takes Guida’s back. He looks for a rear-naked choke. It’s under the chin and tight. Guida is forced to tap out.

Anthony Johnson vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

Round 1: Johnson takes the center of the cage. He inches forward. Nogueira paws with his jab. Johnson lands a right hand. Nogueira is hurt. Johnson swoops in with a flurry of punches. An uppercut whips Nogueira’s head back. Johnson continues to land shots. Nogueira crumbles under the pressure. The referee stops the fight.

The official time of the stoppage was 0:44 of the opening round.

Hard to believe, I know... but he also brought that kind of viciousness to 170 as well.

That's why I brought up that he was gonna be signed to the UFC after his WSOF contract was up... I couldn't believe that nobody else on that show agreed with me that he should be re-signed to the UFC.

He is a force to be reckoned with !
