| By: Antonio Cooper@AntonioCooper88June 9, 2014Ross Pearson vs. Diego Sanchez 2 could very well happen and potentially as a five round fight in the near future according to Sanchez and Pearson themselves. Following the controversial decision that featured Sanchez winning a unanimous decision victory that many protested against, Sanchez took to his post-fight press conference to address the situation immediately. “He was a fun fight. I'd fight him any day of the week," Sanchez said of Pearson. "Ain't no haters going to rob me of my joy right now, my victory. This was a great night for me. I thought I won the fight, 100 percent. So did the judges. Yeah, it's my hometown, but the judges came and did their job. Some reporters can say this, say that. I'm the original guy. I've dealt with this all my career.” While the fight showed Pearson gaining the upper hand on Sanchez repeatedly, many speculate the decision to go with Sanchez came from biased judging, who were natives to Sanchez’s hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The biggest controversy came from judge Jeff Collins who would score the bout 30-27 for Sanchez, a score that no one saw coming, including Sanchez himself who deemed that score “ridiculous.” With a five rounder on the horizon, is this a fight you would be interested in seeing? | |

| I'd be interested in seeing the rematch.
I'm pretty sure both Pearson and Sanchez will want to make a statement, and that'll probably make the rematch more exciting... besides, this has to be a rematch... the scoring by those 2 judges was pretty horrendous.
I believe Pearson is appealing the outcome with the athletic commission, and like I've mentioned before... I'm fairly certain only 3, maybe 4 people thought Diego legitimately won that fight.
It sounds to me that Diego would be willing, and we're certain that Pearson's ready to go... so I don't see why it can happen sooner rather than later.
BTW... I created and put a graphic in the 1st post.

| Great article, not interested in a rematch. The first one wasn't exciting. Diego didn't do anything. | |

| Have you guys heard any more word on a potential rematch ?
I know DFW said that he was going to treat Pearson's loss as a win in his mind for matchmaking purposes, so I would guess the rematch is questionable as of now.
