Junior Dos Santos out of the TUF: Brazil 3 finale.

Reports from Combate are that Junior Dos Santos suffered a fractured finger in training. Here is a translation of their story:

The Brazilian heavyweight Junior Cigano will have to postpone its debut at UFC on Brazilian soil. The fighter suffered a fractured finger during training for the main fight of the TUF Final 3 Brazil, in São Paulo, and will not be able to perform at the event, which takes place in the gym of Ibirapuera, in São Paulo, May 31 day.

Gypsy would face the American Croatian Stipe Miocic on main card fight. The UFC hasn't spoken about who will be his replacement or if there will be a new main event.

According to the CEO of UFC in Brazil, Grace Tourinho, the organization is working with all possible opportunities.

Very little time for the event, and our office in Las Vegas is working with all the possibilities. All are mobilized to get a new main event, or a substitute for Junior Gypsy.

Unfortunately this event has already had issues since Wanderlei Silva was injured during his scuffle with Chael Sonnen during the filming of TUF: Brazil 3. Which in turn led to a new main event being introduced. Now that is off as well. At least Junior Dos Santos' part in it.

The UFC did just sign Andrei Arlovski, so will he step in to save the main event? This is pretty short notice for any fighter to step in. Let alone try and book another main event. This event seems doomed. I am hoping they can find a replacement for Junior and really hope Andrei Arlovski is that man.

For now, the main event is in limbo.

I just read something on this too, and from what I read it looks like this match-up is off.

I believe they're looking for an opponent for Miocic to fight on the card.
