I didn't expect so much stand-up in this match-up.

I've got round 2 :

10-9 Davis

I've got it even going into the 3rd and final round, but round 1 was close and Davis just might be up by 2 rounds.

I'm gonna guess whoever wins the 3rd, wins the fight.

Round 2 went more like I expected this fight to go.

I've got round 3 :

10-9 Eye

Making this one 29-28 Eye on my scorecard, but it was a close fight... closer than I expected it to be, and it just might be 29-28 Davis as well.

I have no idea why Davis decided to strike in the 3rd round... that might have cost her the fight.

Davis wins by split decision... 28-29, 29-28, 29-28.

It was a great fight, and you can't be upset with that outcome.

Alexis Davis vs. Jessica Eye

Well... that was quick as hell and unexpected !

Lots of chatter about a very early stoppage... Twitter is booming with complaints with Herb Dean's poor job at reffing this event.

Debatable, but in my opinion just. The way McMann dropped and covered up writhing in pain was all I would need to see as well.

Not to mention all the chatter about the early stoppage in the Barao/Faber fight might have led to the Pyle/Waldburger fight going too long. I think Rogan needs to quit second guessing the refs in the post fight interviews. This only leads to a ref second guessing his judgment and possibly letting a fighter get hurt.

I watched the post fight show on FOX Sports 1, and all of the fighters and hosts thought the Rousey/McMann stoppage was too early... and the Pyle/Waldburger fight was way too late.
