I'm not sure if anybody is watching this, but it started at noon ET... I know Damon has Fight Pass, but I don't and won't be getting it anytime soon.

More than likely Andy Ogle will be cut from the UFC after this loss... his UFC record is now 1-4, with 3 losses in a row after losing the decision to Maximo Blanco.

Another UK fighter is in a difficult position after yet another UFC loss... Vaughan Lee can't seem to break his loss-win-loss-win-loss pattern since he signed with the UFC, and his UFC record is now 4-3.

No consecutive wins or losses in the UFC, and he is from the UK... so that may very well keep him from getting a pink slip after tonight's event.

The opening bout on the main card is over :

Niklas Backstrom def. Tom Niinimaki by Sub (Rear Naked Choke) 4:15, R2

That's Niinimaki's first loss since November 18, 2006, and his first UFC loss... he was a slight favorite by oddsmakers, and the last 3 losses in his loss column are all by submission.

Niinimaki went into this fight with a 21-5-1 record, against an opponent with much less experience on his professional MMA record... Niklas Backstrom went into this bout with a record of 7-0-0.

The UFC will probably give Niklas Backstrom a much higher ranked opponent in his next fight.

Another fighter from the UK had a bad night in Germany... Luke Barnatt loses to Sean Strickland by Split Decision, and suffers the 1st loss on his professional fight record.

CB Dollaway has solidified the fact that the momentum of the Francis Carmont hype-train has come to a halt for now.

CB Dollaway was ranked #19, had a 14-5-0 record coming into this fight, and was a slight underdog going up against Francis Carmont who was the #9 UFC ranked Middleweight with a record of 22-8-0.

This is a fairly decent win for Dollaway, and this should not only earn him another top 10 opponent in his next fight... but a big move up in the rankings as well.
