Unfortunately Silva has no fight sense. When you hurt a guy, keep going after where you hurt him. Knees on the ground to the body would have ended that fight. Instead he tries to KO/TKO him, then sub him. No wonder he can't string wins together. That was absolutely one of the worst defenses put up by a fighter I've ever seen. "I'll just block, go ahead and hit me."
Silva has pretty much dropped off my radar with that performance. He obviously doesn't have what it takes to be a top fighter. Sad. I thought he could be a great fighter, but after watching that fight I see he is nowhere near that. Brown is a beast, but a lot of it was Silva just letting him hit him as well. How people are calling this an instant classic is beyond me. Other than the fact he hurt Brown twice, Matt dominated him. You have to pounce on the injured area to finish a fight. It was like rocking a guy, then going for leg kicks.
