Event Pool III - WSOF 10: Branch vs. Taylor

The rules and awards are as follows :

Pick the fighters offered in the event that you expect to be the winners, you must pick a winner for each bout in the Event Pool.

You only need to pick the winner in the Event Pools... picking the method of finish or the round the fight will end in is not required.

There are usually 5 to 6 main card bouts above to make your picks in... 2 incorrect picks eliminates you from the Pool.

If all players have 2 or more incorrect picks, the player or players with the most amount of correct picks will win 1st Place in the Event Pool.

If only 1 player is not eliminated he will win all of the prize awards, if more than 1 player or players are tied for 1st Place they will split the award prizes between them.

If 2 players are tied for 1st Place, they will split the 1st & 2nd Place awards, leaving only the 3rd Place award for any other player or players in 3rd Place.

If 3 or more players are tied for 1st Place, they will split the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place awards, and there will be no 2nd or 3rd place winner.

This pool does not continue and a winner(s) is / are determined after the event.

It's that simple !

Tyson Griffin looked a bit soft around the middle... the fight went the distance, and I don't think he got the win.

Luiz Firmino defeats Tyson Griffin by Unanimous Decision, with the judge's scorecards reading 29-28, 29-28, and 30-27

IDK about Jessica Aguilar... when you consider the fact that many people think she's the number 1 strawweight fighter in women's MMA, she's not looking too good in tonight's fight against Emi Fujino.

Not very impressive IMHO.

Not a real exciting fight... I was expecting a much better performance and a finish from Jessica Aguilar.

The fight goes to a decision... and more than likely 50-45 Jessica Aguilar, but still not an impressive performance.

Wow... WSOF will be leaving the NBC Sports Network and moving to the NBC mother network.

Wow... Georgi Karakhanyan's corner decides to throw in the towel in between rounds 2 and 3.

Georgi Karakhanyan stated in his corner at the end of round 2 that he was having trouble breathing... this was the reason for throwing in the towel.

He must have broken a rib.

Rick Glenn defeats Georgi Karakhanyan by TKO due to Retirement at the end of round 2 (5:00), and is the new WSOF Featherweight Champ.

With that upset, 4 players are now eliminated... only IronHorse, Chuck Dallas, and TANITWH are still in the Event Pool.
