| The Cheick Kongo vs. Eric Smith fight started out exciting, but by the time things got around to round 2 both fighters were pretty tired... Cheick Kongo kept the pressure on in the 2nd, and Eric Smith had very little to offer Kongo... the ref had to stop the fight, as Eric Smith was not defending against strikes.
Cheick Kongo defeats Eric Smith by TKO due to strikes in Round 2 at 4:35

| Holy shit !
There were a couple of major upsets on the rest of the card !!
I passed out before the Ortiz / Shlemenko fight was finished.
It looks like Will Brooks shit on the Bellator parade as well with his upset win over Michael Chandler to win the interim lightweight belt... and congrats to "The Hunttington Beach Bad Boy" for getting the quick win over Shlemenko by submission early on in round 1.
Here's the results for the rest of the card :
Tito Ortiz vs. Alexander Shlemenko Tito Ortiz defeats Alexander Shlemenko by submission due to arm-triangle choke in Round 1 at 2:27
Will Brooks vs. Michael Chandler (For the interim lightweight title) Will Brooks defeats Michael Chandler for the interim lightweight title by split decision in 5 rounds, with the judges scorecards reading 48-46, 47-48, 48-47
Quinton Jackson vs. Muhammed Lawal (The light heavyweight tournament final) Quinton Jackson defeats Muhammed Lawal in the 3 round light heavyweight tournament final by unanimous decision, with the judges scorecards reading 29-28, 29-28, 29-28
So once again King Mo loses in Bellator... he's not looking very good as of late, with 3 of his last 6 bouts being losses in Bellator... and a 4-3 record in Bellator, and with a record of 5-4-1 in his last 10.
The old timers from the UFC made some waves and upset the outlook for Bellator... and Will Brooks also upset the outlook for Bellator as well by handing Michael Chandler his 2nd consecutive loss.
I guess there's no need now for the Alvarez vs. Chandler III match-up to take place any longer, since Alvarez will now be fighting Brooks... and Chandler has 2 losses in a row, which doesn't warrant a shot at the title any longer.
