Michael Johnson vs. Melvin Guillard

Round 1: No touch of gloves in this one. Johnson quickly takes the center of the cage. He lands a kick to the body. Guillard lands a knee to the body as Johnson moved forward. Johnson lands an outside leg kick. Guillard misses with a big right hand. They throw leg kicks at the same time and Guillard catches a kick to the groin. He’s given time to recover and the fight is restarted. Johnson delivers an outside leg kick. Johnson explodes forward with a flurry. Guillard moves away. Guillard looking to counter. Johnson looks to get the fight to the ground. Guillard shakes off the attempt. Johnson lands an outside leg kick. He continues to work the lead leg of Guillard. Johnson inches forward. Guillard lands an lead uppercut as Johnson closed the distance. Johnson misses with a high kick. Johnson moves in with a combination, but Guillard gets out of the way. The round ends. MMAWeekly scores it 10-9 for Johnson.

Round 2: Guillard takes the center of the cage. Johnson circles on the outside. He steps in with a leg kick. Johnson being more careful this round. He delivers a kick to the body. Johnson goes to the body with a right hand. Guillard lands an inside leg kick. Johnson lands a counter left hand. He urges Guillard to come forward. Johnson continues to land leg kicks. Guillard misses with a winging right hand. Johnson steps in with a left hand. He lands a combination that wobbles Guillard. The round ends. MMAWeekly scores it 10-9 for Johnson.

Round 3: Guillard comes out with a low stance. He presses forward with a combination. Johnson ducks under and gets the fight to the ground. Guillard quickly gets back to his feet. Johnson inches forward. Guillard misses with a spinning back kick. Johnson lands an outside leg kick. Johnson lands a left hand. Guillard moves in and is met with a right hand. Johnson continues to press forward. He’s walking Guillard down. Johnson lands a counter right hand off a leg kick by Guillard. He presses Guillard against the cage with two minutes remaining. They separate and Guillard lands a right hand on the break. Guillard pushes forward and Johnson meets him with a combination. Johnson lands a right hand. He says he was poked in the eye. The referee doesn’t recognize it and Johnson moves in with a right hand. Johnson lands an uppercut on the inside. Johnson is outworking Guillard and winning the striking. The round ends. MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Johnson.

The judges scored the fight for Johnson by unanimous decision. The scorecards read 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28.

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jimi Manuwa

Round 1: They touch gloves and the main event is underway. They exchange leg kicks. Gustafsson moves in with a jab followed by a leg kick. Gustafsson changes levels and takes Manuwa down. He works from the half guard position. Gustafsson lands short right hands to the body. He isolates Manuwa’s left arm. Manuwa recognizes it and gets it free. Gustafsson delivers shoulder strikes. Manuwa works back to full guard. Gustafsson lands a right hand. Manuwa scrambles back to his feet. Gustafsson looks to get the fight to the ground. Manuwa lands a knee. Gustafsson lands an outside leg kick. Manuwa digs a left hand to the body. Gustafsson cirlces and the round ends. MMAWeekly scores it 10-9 for Gustafsson.

Round 2: Gustafsson takes the center of the cage. He moves forward behind his jab. Manuwa closes the distance. He gets accidentally poked in the eye. He is given time to recover and the fight is restarted. Gustafsson lands his jab. Manuwa counters with a right hand. Manuwa lands an overhand right. Gustafsson closes the distance. He lands a knee that wobbles Manuwa. Gustafsson follows up with an uppercut. Manuwa collapses to the canvas. He finishes with two hammer fists on the ground. Gustafsson wins by TKO.

The official time of the technical knockout was 1:18 of the second round.
